I’m Maria and I’m the mother of Tyrone, who I lost to suicide on 27 April, 2023. Tyrone wasn’t just my son, he was my best friend, the relationship we had was so special and it was beyond unbreakable.

If it hadn’t been for Norfolk and Waveney Mind, I don’t know where my life would be now. They have helped me massively and I hold great, cherished memories of

Tyrone and I will forever do that. And I will always speak of him very fondly and very proudly.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind gave us something in our darkest times. I can’t thank the charity enough and I would recommend anyone who’s going through a loss to get in touch.
