Thank you for your interest in becoming a Trustee with Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
As Chair of Trustees, I’m incredibly proud to be part of a charity that plays such a vital role in supporting mental health across our region. Having joined the Board in 2025, I saw this opportunity not only as a way to champion better mental health outcomes, but also to help bring together wider health and wellbeing priorities across Norfolk and Waveney. My background as a Non-Executive Director at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals Foundation Trust gives me a broader perspective on how these services must align to make a real, lasting difference in people’s lives.
And that’s exactly what Norfolk and Waveney Mind does — it changes lives. Sometimes, it even saves them. Our staff and volunteers are not only highly skilled and passionate, but also warm, grounded, and genuinely fun to work with. It’s a privilege to be part of this team.
If you’re considering applying, my biggest advice is: believe in yourself. You don’t need a senior job title or a corporate background to make a difference here. We are actively looking for people who reflect the communities we serve — people with lived experience, fresh ideas, and a strong sense of compassion
and commitment.
If that sounds like you, I encourage you to apply. We’d love to hear from you.
